A WebQuest: An Inquiry Activity to Enhance Student Learning

A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet. A learner will analyze a body of knowledge found on the Web, transform it in some way, and demonstrate an understanding of the material by creating something that others can respond to on- or off-line. It represents a new teaching paradigm created by Bernie Dodge, Professor of Educational Technology at San Diego State University.
