When you start a new presentation in PowerPoint, it will assume that you want to beging with a title slide. PowerPoint will automatically bring up a slide that is pre-formatted to be a title slide. PowerPoint has dozens of pre-formatted slide layouts for your to choose from. There are slides for bulleted text, images, chats, and any combination of those things. If you do need to build your own slide, you can choose a Blank slide layout and draw in your own text boxes, images, etc.
The Title Slide
- When the presentation opens, you will see the title slide in the middle of your workspace.
- In the text box on the slide, you will see the words, "click to add title."
- Click once on the text box to select it.
Double-click on the text box to move your cursor inside the text box. - Enter your title.
