To delete messages from your Inbox

You can delete messages from your Inbox so you Inbox is not cluttered. When you delete messages in your Inbox, you are actually having them automatically move to your Trash folder. To permanently delete your messages, you still have to delete them from your Trash folder found by clicking the Trash link on the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen (See the Empty Trash section).
1. To delete a message from your list of messages in your Inbox, open the message and click Delete on the tool bar at the top of the message area.
2. You can also delete messages from your list of messages in your Inbox by clicking in the box in front of the message before you open it and then clicking Delete.
