How to Open Softchalk
Locate the Lesson Builder icon on your desktop and double-click it.
If you have not yet entered the license key, you will have to enter it before you can begin using Softchalk. For instructions on entering the license key, click here.
When you start the application, Lesson Builder will open a plain white window. This is your workspace.
Begin by planning how many pages you will need and what you want the pages to look like. Try to answer these questions:
- Do you want students to begin on a welcome page with an introduction that leads to separate pages?
- Would you prefer to have all the information on one page?
- Do you want a header on the page?
- Should each page have the same header?
- Do you want to have a footer on each page?
You don't need to answer these questions before you begin building your project, but they are a good way to begin.
