Create Distribution Lists

Creating A Distribution List:

  1. Click the drop-down arrow on the New button. Choose Distribution List from the menu.
  2. Enter a Name for the new list.
  3. Click the Find Names button. The Find Names dialog box opens. This is the same box that opens when you use your address book to find a name. You can choose to search either the Global Address Book or your own list of Contacts.
  4. Enter search criteria into the Find Names dialog box and click Find. The names that meet your search criteria will appear in the lower half of the box.
  5. Select the correct name and click the Add To Distribution List button at the bottom of the dialog box.
  6. When you are finished adding names, click close.
  7. Click Save and Close.

To send a message to a distribution list, click the New Message button and enter the name of the distribution list into the To field.
