Copying and Pasting in OWA 2003

When you are typing the body of an email message or entering the description of an event in OWA 2003, you will not see the familiar Explorer menus, (File, Edit, View, etc.) at the top of the window. If you are accustomed to using the Copy and Paste buttons under the Edit menu, they will not be available. It is, however, still possible to copy and paste text in Outlook 2003 Web Access. To copy and paste text, you can either use the standard windows keyboard shortcuts or drag and drop the text.

Drag and Drop Method

  1. Highlight the text.
  2. Click and drag the highlighted text to its new location.

Keyboard Shortcuts

  1. Highlight the text.
  2. Press the Ctrl and C keys simultaneously to copy.
  3. Place the cursor where you would like to place the text.
  4. Press the Ctrl and V keys simultaneously.
