Blackboard 8 Updates

The major change to Blackboard 8 is the Grade Center. The Grade Center looks and functions very differently from the previous Gradebook in Blackboard. To help you get started with the new Grade Center, check out the resources listed below. They include materials from Blackboard, the VCCS and other colleges.

Materials Created by the VCCS

The site created by the VCCS is organized into sections for beginner, intermediate and advanced users of the Grade Center.

• Beginners
  • Covers: New Icons, Adding a Grade to the Grade Center, Modifying a Grade, Adding a Grade Column, Downloading Grades, Viewing Grades in the Grade Center, Clearing Assessment Attempts, Choosing Which Attempt to Grade, Emailing Users From the Grade Center
• Intermediate

When you click on the materials created by the VCCS you will be prompted to enter your VCCS log in, which is the same log in that is used to access MYNOVA.
