Beginning Thursday, February 5, 2009, at 12:00 AM and ending on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 6:00 AM, VCCS will be performing maintenance and upgrades to Blackboard 8.  Blackboard 8 will not be available to users during this 6-hour outage period.

SafeAssign upgraded to fix the following issues:
"Blackboard has released an update (version 1.2.15) to the SafeAssign Building Block to resolve the following issues:

A student viewing a SafeAssignment from the My Grades page receives a 404 error.

Some images on SafeAssign pages fail to display.

Users with multiple course roles (e.g. instructor in one course, student in another course) receive an authorization error when accessing certain SafeAssign pages."

SafeAssign has been upgraded and now accepts .docx files from Office 2007.

SafeAssign will be unavailable on September 27 due to upgrade.
