Choose Your Navigation Menu Buttons/Links

From to the Control Panel.

1. In the Course Options Menu, click Manage Course Menu.
   
2. The next screen shows a list of the default links to content areas that Blackboard automatically creates for you. To remove a content area, click the Remove button next to its name.
3. To modify a content area, click on the Modify button next to its name. You can choose to change the name of the link, allow Guest or Observer access and make the content area available to students. The tool or area will not be available to students, guests or observer until you check the corresponding box under Area Properties.
   

Tip: You can change the order of the menu items by changing the number in the drop-down menu to the left of the item name.

Reorder the Menu

You can reorder the links in your navigation bar by clicking on the number next to an item and choosing a new number.

Note: If Blackboard does not reorder the numbers correctly, try reordering from the bottom up. For example, if you have ten items in the list, begin with the tenth item.
