Exporting a Course
When you export a course, you can choose which data to export. Blackboard can strip out the student data in the course. If you wish to keep a copy of a course to use as a template for the future or to share with colleagues, exporting the course might be the best choice. Exported files are created as .zip files that you can save to your hard drive or a CD.
Choose which course you wish to export.
From Control Panel
1. Under Course Options , select Export Course.

2. Click on Export.

3. Check the course elements that you wish to include in the export.

4. Click Submit.
5. The next screen shows a report on the archive process. If Blackboard encountered any problems when archiving your course, they will be listed here. Click OK to continue.

6. To save the archived file to your hard drive, click on the link from the Export/Archive Manager screen.

7. Select Save to Disk.

8. The file will be packaged into a .zip file and downloaded to your hard drive. You may burn the zip file to a CD if you choose to do so.
9. Click OK to return to Control Panel Menu.
