StudyMate 2.0 is a Windows authoring tool that lets instructors create 10 Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates. The Flash activities can be published directly to a Blackboard Learning System course, so it requires no knowledge of HTML or Flash programming. StudyMate will import questions from MS Word, rich-text, and Respondus format which make it easy to create interactive activities from existing content.

StudyMate is a tool similar to SoftChalk for creating interactive web pages quickly and easily using a Flash based format. This tool will also let you create activities for use on iPods, Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) and other small screen devices. The VCCS has a temporary system license and you can download the software from this folder. This software is being piloted and your usage and feedback will determine whether it becomes a permanent addition to the suite of instructional tools available system-wide. This software may replace SoftChalk when the results of the pilot are assessed. This version of StudyMate is 2.0.4b
