Respondus

Respondus software makes for easily creating tests and quizzes in Blackboard. The VCCS has a system license.

Respondus 3.5 is a Windows application that makes it easy to create, import and preview Blackboard exams offline. The editor is similar to a word processor and includes an equation editor, spell checker, table editor, and full media support. Respondus will import questions from MS Word (including embedded images) and will seamlessly publish a complete exam (including media files, points, random blocks, and settings) to a Blackboard course. Full-featured printing capabilities are included, making it possible to synchronize web-based and print-based exams. The "retrieval" task additionally allows exams to be moved from one Blackboard course to another, or to convert exams from other course management systems. Best of all, Respondus doesn't require you to know (or view) HTML.
